O, never say that I was false of heart,
Though absence seem'd my flame to qualify.
As easy might I from myself depart
As from my soul, which in thy breast doth lie:
That is my home of love: if I have ranged,
Like him that travels I return again,
Just to the time, not with the time exchanged,
So that myself bring water for my stain.
Never believe, though in my nature reign'd
All frailties that besiege all kinds of blood,
That it could so preposterou be stain'd,
To leave for nothing all thy sum of good;
For nothing this wide universe I call,
Save thou, my rose; in it thou art my all.
الترجمــــة الى العربيـــة
لا تقولي أبدا إن قلبي خان و إن أبدى الغياب خمود مشاعري فإنْ سهل علي أن أغادر ذاتي
فروحي تسكن قلبك موطن حبي الذي إن بعدت عنه عدت إليه كالمسافر العائد في موعده أطهر آثامي
لا تصدقي رغم كل الضعف الذي يملأ كل دم فيعكر صفوه أن أترك نعيمك للعدم
لا شيء من هذا العالم الفسيح أطلبه سواك يا زهرتي . يا كل مالدي
No longer mourn for me when I am dead
Then you shall hear the surly sullen bell
Give warning to the world that I am fled
From this vile world, with vilest worms to dwell:
Nay, if you read this line, remember not
The hand that writ it; for I love you so
That I in your sweet thoughts would be forgot
If thinking on me then should make you woe.
O, if, I say, you look upon this verse
When I perhaps compounded am with clay,
Do not so much as my poor name rehearse.
But let your love even with my life decay,
Lest the wise world should look into your moan
And mock you with me after I am gone.
الترجمــة الى العربيــــة
عندما تسمع الأجراس الحزينة لا تبك عندما أرحل.... أخبر العالم بأني هجرت
العالم القذر لأسكن مع ديدان
أقذر كلا، إن قرأت هذه الأسطر، لا تذكر اليد التي كتبتها، لأني أحبك
كثيراً لذا أبعدني عن أفكارك العذبة إن كان التفكير بي سيجعلك حزيناً إن
قرأت شعري بينما أتحلل طيناً لا تكرر اسمي كثيراً بل دع حبك مع جسدي يفنى لئلا ينظر الحكماء لنحيبك ويسخرون منك ومني ..بعد رحيلي
All that glitters is not gold;
Often have you heard that told:
Many a man his life hath sold
But my outside to behold

ما كل براق ذهب
مثل يدور على الحقب
كم باع شخص روحه
كيما يشاهدني وحسب .]
The fire seven times tried this:
Seven times tried that judgment is,
That did never choose amiss.
Some there be that shadows kiss;
Such have but a shadow's bliss:
There be fools alive, I wis,
Silver'd o'er; and so was this.
Take what wife you will to bed,
I will ever be your head:
So be gone: you are sped.

صهرتني الأيدي مرات سبعا في النار
فتطهر حكمي مرات سبعا
حتى ما أخطئ يوما في أمر خيار
لن يسعد من لثم الأوهام
إلا بنعيم الأحلام
كم من حمقى لون الفضة يكسوهم
وأنا منهم
فاصحب من شئت إلى مخدع عرسك
لن تخلع رأس الأحمق من رأسكآن أوان رحيلك فامض لحال سبيلك
Tell me where is fancy bred,
Or in the heart or in the head?
How begot, how nourished?
Reply, reply.
It is engender'd in the eyes,
With gazing fed; and fancy dies
In the cradle, where it lies.
Let us all ring fancy's knell;
I'll begin it – Ding, dong, bell.

ما أصل وهم الحب .. في العين أو في القلب
قل كيف يولد قل .. وكيف يرتوي أجب
أجب . أجب
العين مولد .. فبنظرة يروى
لكنه يذوي .. ويضيع في لحظة
انعوه يا صحبي .. ولأبتدي الأتراح
وشاركوني الدمع .. حزنا على ما راح
لهفي على ما راح .
How like a winter hath my absence been
From thee, the pleasure of the fleeting year!
What freezings have I felt, what dark days seen!
What old December's bareness every where!
And yet this time removed was summer's time,
The teeming autumn, big with rich increase,
Bearing the wanton burden of the prime,
Like widow'd wombs after their lords' decease
Yet this abundant issue seem'd to me
But hope of orphans and unfather'd fruit;
For summer and hi pleasures wait on thee,
And, thou away, the very birds are mute;
Or, if they sing, 'tis with so dull a cheer
That leaves look pale, dreading the winter's near.

غيابك شتاء بارد
يبحث عن دفء أيام هاربة
صقيع ونهارات قاتمة
ونحيب كانون يسكن الأمكنة
صيفك ولى
تعقبه أيام خريف شاحبة
حبلى بوعود ربيعية مفعمة
كرحم امرأة رحل عنها خلها
وأودعها أملاً
بفاكهة يتيمة محرمة
تنتظر عودة صيفك
لتستعيد العصافير أصواتها
والألحان بهجتها
فالأوراق يا حبيبتي باهتة
تنذر بشتاء بارد
